Summer and Winter Editions

The Summer and Winter editions of the European Rail Timetable are based on the June and December monthly editions but with extra pages. The idea of these editions is to make the timetable more widely available through the booktrade, as most bookshops would not sell enough to justify stocking the monthly edition. However, it is also available direct from Thomas Cook Publishing and on their website.

It has an extra 32 pages at the front with a 6-page feature on Rail Passes (which also appears in the regular May edition) and detailed country by country information on embassies, tourist offices, public transport, telephones, holidays and more. Apart from these extra pages the content is identical to the regular June or December editions. A voucher, valid for one year, enables the purchaser to buy a later monthly edition with £5 off in order to obtain the latest timings.
