UROCK Summer Schools

Summer Schools take place at Fulbridge School during the summer school holidays. Over a period of three or four days pupils devise and rehearse a show culminating in a performance to which parents are invited. Recent Summer Schools have produced the following shows:

2010 - Grease a three-day Summer School with the emphasis on Musical Theatre.

2010 - Red Balloon a further three-day Summer School with the emphasis on Movement and Dance.

2009 - A Midsummer Night's Dream a site-specific performance in the playground of Fulbridge School.

New Writing

UROCK are no strangers to writing and developing original material. As well as shorter pieces, the group has written and performed their own musical:

2008 - Boy Band.

Edinburgh Fringe

In their most ambitious project yet, UROCK took a smash-hit musical to the Edinburgh Fringe. Performed at The C Venue for the entire first week of the Fringe, it played to a full house each day.

2007 - High School Musical at the Edinburgh Fringe.
